I got an email that my payment settings changed but I didn't change anything

Treat an unexpected "your payment settings changed" notice as a security alert and act right away.

Do this now

  1. Reset your password immediately — see resetting your password.
  2. Turn on two-factor authentication so a password alone cannot get in — see 2FA.
  3. Check your payout details under Settings → Payouts and correct anything that was changed — see change your payout method.
  4. Email [email protected] from your account address so we can review activity and lock things down.

Why this matters

Your account controls where your earnings are sent. If someone gained access, the first thing they would change is the payout destination — so verifying it (and securing the account) protects your money.
