Our story
Self-publishing authors were stuck choosing between Amazon exclusivity and a maze of aggregator fees that take a cut of every sale forever. Small presses needed ONIX-grade delivery and library reach without enterprise contracts. Chiify exists to give both a cleaner path: upload once, distribute widely, keep rights, and pay a flat plan with 0% platform commission.
We sit at the intersection of authors, publishers, and readers — connecting manuscripts to Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, OverDrive, and hundreds of specialty channels with human review, EPUB conversion, and Bowker-registered ISBNs in the same workflow.

What we believe
- Authors should keep their rights. Non-exclusive distribution is the default — not a premium upgrade.
- Platform commission on every sale forever is a bad deal for a growing catalog. Flat plans with 0% platform commission are clearer.
- Metadata quality is distribution quality. Bad categories and broken EPUBs lose sales silently.
- Accessibility is infrastructure. European Accessibility Act compliance should not be an optional checkbox.
- Human review beats blind automation for first-time publishes. A person should look before a book ships.
