Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step at login, so even someone with your password cannot get in. It is the single best way to protect your books and earnings.
How to enable it
1. Go to Settings → Security.
2. Turn on two-factor authentication.
3. Follow the prompts to link your second factor and confirm.
4. Save your backup/recovery options somewhere safe in case you lose your device.
Why it matters
Your Chiify account controls your catalogue and your payout details. If anyone ever emails saying your "payment settings changed" unexpectedly, 2FA is your protection — and you should reset your password immediately and contact support.
