How do I change the email address on my account?

Update your email in account settings; you'll re-verify the new address. If you're locked out of the old one, contact support. Here's how.

You can change the email tied to your Chiify account from your settings.

If you can log in

  1. Go to Settings → Account.
  2. Enter your new email and save.
  3. Verify the new address by clicking the link we send to it — see verification email.

Your books, sales, and payout settings stay exactly as they are — only the login email changes.

If you can't access the old email

If you are locked out of the old address (and so cannot receive notices there), email [email protected] from the new address with enough detail to prove the account is yours. For security we verify ownership before changing a login email.

Don't forget payouts

Your payout email (for PayPal) is separate from your login email. If you use PayPal, check it too — see change your payout method.
