What is the minimum payout threshold?
Each method has a minimum: $10 (US ACH and PayPal), $50 (international wire), ₦20,000 (Naira). Below it, your balance rolls over. Here's how it works.

Chiify only sends a payout once your balance clears the minimum for your chosen method — this keeps tiny transfers from being eaten by fees.
The minimums
- US bank (ACH): $10
- PayPal: $10
- International wire: $50
- Nigerian Naira local transfer: ₦20,000
What happens below the minimum
Your balance simply rolls over to the next month and keeps growing — nothing is lost or expired. Once it crosses the threshold, you are paid on the next 15th.
Choosing the right method
- New or low-volume authors usually prefer PayPal or ACH ($10) so they get paid sooner.
- For larger balances, an international wire is efficient despite the $50 minimum.
See how will I get paid and when will I get paid.
A quick example
If you earn $7 in PayPal-eligible sales one month (below the $10 minimum), nothing is sent — that $7 carries forward. Earn $6 more next month and your $13 balance pays out on the 15th. Nothing is ever lost to the threshold; it only delays small payouts so fees do not eat them.
Reaching it faster
Pick a method with a low minimum ($10 for PayPal or US ACH) if you are just starting, and switch to a wire for larger balances later.
