When will I receive my earnings? The payout schedule explained

Chiify runs payouts on the 15th of every month. The only thing that varies is how long stores take to report your sales to us.

The full cycle

1. A reader buys your book at a store.
2. The store reports that sale to Chiify — usually 30–60 days after the end of the month it happened in. This delay is set by the retailers, not Chiify.
3. Chiify reconciles the report and adds it to your balance.
4. You are paid on the 15th, as long as your balance is above your method's minimum.

Example

A sale in March is typically reported by the store in April, reconciled, and paid to you on 15 May.

Minimums and rollover

If your balance is below the minimum for your payout method ($10 for ACH/PayPal, $50 for wire, ₦20,000 for Naira), it simply rolls over to the next month — nothing is lost.

Speeding things up

You cannot speed up store reporting, but you can make sure your payout method is set and verified so nothing blocks the transfer when the 15th comes. See How will I get paid.
