How do I sign up and get approved on Chiify?

Create your Chiify account, verify your email, set up your author profile, and get approved to start publishing — usually within 24–48 hours.

Signing up for Chiify takes a couple of minutes, and approval usually lands within 24–48 hours. Here is the whole path from nothing to ready-to-publish.

1. Create your account

Go to the sign-up page, enter your name, email, and a password, and confirm. We will send a verification email — click the link to activate your account. If it does not arrive, see I didn't receive my verification email.

2. Set up your author profile

Add your author or pen name, a short bio, and a payout method so you are ready to be paid when sales come in. You can choose a US bank transfer, international wire, PayPal, or Nigerian Naira — see How will I get paid.

3. Get approved

New accounts go through a quick human review so we keep the catalogue clean for retailers. Most authors are approved within 24–48 hours. You will get an email the moment you are cleared.

4. Publish your first book

Once approved, upload your manuscript and we convert it to a retail-ready EPUB for free — you preview it and approve before anything ships. See How to upload an ebook.

What we look for

  • A real author identity and genuine, original work.
  • No placeholder or template text, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.

Approval is free, and so is staying on the Free plan (3 books). You only pay if you upgrade for more slots and 0% commission.
