How do I withdraw a book from sale and put it back later?

You can withdraw a book to pause its sales everywhere, then reinstate it later — useful for revisions, rebrands, or a relaunch.

How to withdraw

1. Open the book in your dashboard and choose withdraw / take off sale.
2. Chiify sends a takedown to your stores, which remove it on their own schedule (a few days).

How to reinstate

1. Set the book back to published and resubmit.
2. It goes through the 24–48 hour review again, then re-delivers to stores.

Important

If a book has been off sale for a long time (often 90+ days), the original store listing may not return — the book can get a fresh URL, which affects your old marketing links and any reviews tied to the previous listing.
