On any paid plan, Chiify takes 0% commission — you keep the entire royalty the store pays. Here is how the math actually works.

Where your royalty comes from

When a store sells your book, it keeps its own share and pays the rest to Chiify. Chiify passes that through to you:

• Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Lifetime): you keep 100% of what the store pays. Chiify takes nothing.
• Free plan: Chiify keeps a 10% cut.

What the store keeps

Each retailer sets its own share, which varies by store and by your list price. For example, ebook royalty rates differ between Amazon price bands, Apple, Kobo, and Google. Chiify does not change those store rates — it simply does not add a fee of its own on paid plans.

What affects your take-home

• VAT/tax in some countries, which stores handle on their side.
• Returns, which appear as negative transactions.
