Front matter (the opening pages)
1. Title page — title, subtitle, author.
2. Copyright page — see what is a copyright page.
3. Dedication (optional).
4. Table of contents — though the clickable navigation matters most; see clickable table of contents.
Body
5. Your chapters, each starting on a new page (use page breaks).
Back matter (the closing pages)
6. About the author.
7. Also by this author — link your other books with your Universal Book Link.
8. A call to action — invite an honest review; see getting reviews.
Keep it clean
Remove anything that does not belong in a finished book — draft notes, placeholder text, or template boilerplate, which can get a book blocked.
