Chiify is non-exclusive. You keep 100% of your copyright and are free to sell the same book anywhere else at the same time.
What that means
- You can use Chiify for some stores and another service (or KDP direct) for others — just never send the same book to the same store from two places. See using multiple distributors.
- You can sell the book on your own website too.
- You can leave any time — see our exit terms in your account.
Why this matters
Exclusivity (like Amazon's KDP Select) locks you to one retailer for higher per-read rates but zero reach elsewhere. Going wide with a non-exclusive distributor spreads your income across many stores and libraries. See KDP Select vs going wide.
Your work stays yours, on your terms.
