Installing the Chiify Store reader app on iOS and Android

The Chiify Store app is the consumer reader — a Kindle/Kobo-style app for buying and reading the indie books distributed through chiify.com.

On Android

From Google Play

1. Open Google Play Store on your phone.
2. Search for Chiify Store.
3. Tap Install.
4. Open it; tap Account to sign in or create an account.

Sideload (advanced)

If you can't access Google Play (or want the latest build):

1. Open chiify.com/downloads/chiify-store-1.0.0.apk on your phone's browser.
2. Tap to download.
3. Open the downloaded APK. Android will ask to allow installs from your browser — Settings → Allow this source.
4. Tap Install.

The app works on Android 7 (Nougat) and later.

On iOS

From the App Store

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Search for Chiify Store.
3. Tap Get → Install.
4. Open the app; tap Account to sign in.

Requires iOS 16 or later.

After installing

1. Browse Discover to see new releases, bestsellers, and editor's picks — no sign-in needed.
2. Tap any cover to see the book detail page with description, price, and Buy button.
3. Tap Account → Sign in when you're ready to buy. (Creating an account is free; we don't charge until you buy a book.)
4. Tap Buy on a book → Stripe checkout opens → complete payment → the book appears in your Library.
5. Tap Library → Read or Listen to open the reader or audiobook player.

If you don't want to install the app, you can read on the web at chiify.com/reading. Same library, same sync, no install required.
