Interior PDF
- PDF/X-1a format, CMYK colour, fonts embedded.
- Correct trim size with bleed on any element that runs to the edge — see trim sizes.
- Page count that matches your file; even page counts are typical.

Cover PDF
- A single wraparound file: back cover + spine + front cover, with bleed — see how to create a wraparound cover.
- The spine width depends on page count; use the generated template for your book.
General
- High-resolution images (300 DPI) so nothing prints blurry.
- No interactive elements (print is static).
