Creating your Chiify account

Creating a Chiify account takes about 2 minutes.

Step 1 — Register

1. Go to chiify.com/signup.
2. Enter your author name (the name that will appear on your books), email, and a password.
3. Click Create account.

Step 2 — Verify your email

We send a verification link to the email you used. Click it within 24 hours to activate your account. If you don't see the email:

• Check your spam folder.
• Make sure you used the right email.
• Click Resend verification on the login screen.

Step 3 — Set up your author profile

After verification, you land on the dashboard. Click Profile in the sidebar to:

• Add your author bio (used on retailer pages).
• Upload an author photo (PNG or JPG, 500×500px or larger).
• Add your social links (Twitter/X, Instagram, website).

You can update these any time — they propagate to retailers on the next book upload.

Step 4 — Set up your payout method

Click Settings → Payouts to add a payout method. We support:

• Nigerian Naira local transfer (NGN bank account, ₦20,000 minimum)
• USDT on Tron (TRC20) ($10 minimum)
• US ACH (US bank account, $10 minimum)
• International USD wire ($50 minimum)

You don't need to set this up to publish — only when you're ready to receive your first payout (which happens monthly on the 15th).
