Trapped In The Alien Hunter's Ship

Petra talks to plants. She also talks to her captor, who has not spoken a full sentence to her since he snatched her off a research station. Zarik needs her expertise — his homeworld is dying, and she's the only xenobotanist in three systems who might save it. But the longer she stays in his ship, the more she realizes he doesn't want a hostage. He wants someone to stand in his dying fields beside him. A grumpy sunshine sci-fi alien captive romance.
