Traded to the Sun Court

Mira Sovel is a negotiator, and she just negotiated herself into a hand-cuff. Her own father signed the treaty. Her own clauses put her on a boat to the Sun Court, a hostage-princess in all but name, delivered to a prince whose smile never reaches his eyes. Auren is exactly what everyone says — beautiful, cold, and holding a kingdom together with secrets. Mira is not interested in his secrets. She's interested in his numbers. The trade ledger he keeps hidden under the kitchen is very interesting, and so is the price she can put on his silence. This is not a love story. It is a negotiation. Terms: her freedom, the end of a slave-trade, one bed, no clauses that can't be re-argued in the morning. When it's done she goes home. He arrives three months later with a suitcase and a draft amendment. Some treaties get signed. Some get married.
