The Winger Who Took Her

Noor Bennett was sent to profile a hockey star. She left with a photograph she should never have taken. Kiran Voss has one rule: never get caught. He got caught in a parking garage with a camera in his face, and now he has a sportswriter locked in his lake house until he can figure out how to make her forget what she saw. He doesn't mean to keep her. He means to scare her. But the men who own his career are not interested in scaring her. They are interested in what she knows. Weeks pass. She cooks. He watches game tape. Neither of them says the word for what this is. She is building a case from inside his own files. He knows. He leaves them unlocked anyway. A dark hockey captive romance with a reluctant captor, a sportswriter who refuses to be a victim, and two people who will burn their careers to walk away together.
