The Underboss's Quiet Knife

Matteo Rivas runs the harbor for the Syndicate and pretends he isn't the last wolf in the family. Dax Kowalski just wanted a wrestling scholarship and a quiet degree — until a wrong-address delivery puts him in the middle of a shoot-out and a first shift he was never supposed to see. Matteo should kill him. Instead he gives him a jacket and a route. What starts as errand-running turns into the only quiet hour either of them has. But the pack that raised Matteo wants him mated to a rival alpha's daughter, and the truce dinner is already on the calendar. When the church fills with gunfire, two men who were never supposed to matter to each other have to fight their way out back to back. A dark MM college mafia lycan romance about choosing the person instead of the pack.
