The Scent of Scandal

Imogen West is at Ravenscote on a scholarship she can't afford to lose and a talent nobody in the composition wing wants to admit is real. Lucien Marlowe is the visiting maestro, in residence for one semester, and he wants her scent installation for the winter gala. She says no. He asks again. They work in a greenhouse at the edge of campus for three months with the door open at all times and the rules unspoken. He's forty. She's nineteen. He's her conductor, her collaborator, and the reason the board has opened an inquiry into her scholarship. He steps down to protect her. She never asked him to. A forbidden age gap academy romance about a girl who builds scent for a living and a man who can finally name what he's been breathing.
