The Saint of Hollowgate

Every decade, Hollowgate Academy chooses a Saint — one student bound to the catacomb spirit to keep the wards alive. This year it chooses Tilly, and the last dozen Saints are all in the archive, dead. Three seniors are assigned as her keepers: the archivist who already drafted her eulogy, the gardener who plants roses over her grave, and the groundskeeper's son who has heard the spirit since childhood. Tilly has one month to write her own ending. She's going to give the academy something it's never had: a Saint who survives Halloween.
