The Prospect's Untouched Woman

Marisol Quintero has balanced her family's tire shop books since she was nineteen and kept her body to herself for twenty-five years. Ripley Vance used to drive her to school. Now he drives for the Rio Diablo MC, and he asked her to marry him in front of the entire club. She said yes. Six weeks before the wedding she found a text thread on his phone: Rip in a Ciudad Acuña motel bed with a sister chapter's old lady. Mari returned the ring in his mother's driveway and moved to San Antonio. Two years later she runs land comps for a commercial real-estate firm, and the Rio Diablo MC is trying to buy six acres of San Antonio riverfront. Rip walks into her conference room with the club's president and a story about a barter deal and a cropped photograph. Mari isn't a girl who takes a man's word. She hires an investigator, and the investigator backs him up. Rip doesn't want the wedding back. He wants Saturday mornings — coffee, eggs, no ring, no club. Mari says yes to six of them.
