The Professor's Ruined Reputation

Dr. Nadia Petrova published one book about where Ardley College's money came from and is now, apparently, the villain of her own university. Her department's solution is to have her co-teach with the visiting professor who delayed her tenure with a single review — Rowan Adair, popular with students, generous with colleagues, and, Nadia discovers while checking her own footnotes, subtly rewriting her archive citations in the university database under his name. When the board moves to protect the endowment she exposed, Rowan sits on the committee that suspends her classes. He votes with the majority.
