The Lion of the Firm

I run my family's defense firm, and I am one week into the biggest case of my career when the letters start. My firm hired security. I got Dom Etienne, the man I represented eight years ago and slept with once, in June, after his acquittal. He moves into my apartment. He sits behind me in federal court. He notices, before anyone else does, why my suits have all been let out. I am five months pregnant and the father is the man standing between me and a retired detective who has been falsifying witness statements for twenty years.
