The Enforcer She Broke

Nadia Caruso has run the numbers for a crime family for six years without ever getting blood on her hands. Dario Michalik is the man who taught her uncle how to make people afraid. He's forty-nine, he's not proud of who he's been, and he's just been assigned to watch her. He expects to find a fraud. He finds a woman who's already solved the case — and who won't turn in the culprit, because the culprit is family and she wants to dismantle the whole thing instead. They have one rule for three months: nothing but work. Then the men come to her apartment and the rule stops mattering. An age gap mafia romance about a woman who runs the plan and a man who runs out of reasons to refuse her.
