The Empty Net

Kit Ferraro has spent five seasons being the reliable third-line winger nobody writes about. That was the point. Then the Coastal League introduces its bonded-pack protocol, and Kit is reassigned to a folding club and told he will be bonded to two alphas by opening night. Ivan Drakos is a defenseman with eleven years of damage and a reputation for breaking rookies. Milo Sandoval is a goalie with a rebuilt wrist and the kind of scent that makes suppressants a lie. One house. One season. Three men the league is using as a test case. By April, the protocol is on trial, the club is on the record, and Kit has stopped being anyone's reliable third line. A dark MMM hockey omegaverse romance about a rule that was never meant to be questioned.
