The Cartographer She Chose

Pippa Thistlewood makes maps of places that do not exist yet. She has made one of Bram Wellender, a retired knight who hates boats, hedges, forests, and optimism. The queen has just assigned him to escort her to the Summerland, a country no one has reached in three hundred years. Every waypoint is stranger than the last, every map she draws pulls Bram further in, and somewhere around the village where no one remembers yesterday, she stops wanting to travel alone. The Summerland is not a place. It is a page. And Pippa is about to draw herself onto it.
