The Capo's Hidden Son

Marta Ferreira was the capo's physician for three years. She was his lover for one night, and she has never been sorry about either. When Aldo Vieri dies, his will leaves the estate in escrow until a son no one has met is produced. Marta has kept her son away from the family's reach for nine years. Now the capo's brother is at her clinic, and the estate has a nursery, a tutor, and a horse — all prepared for a child who has never lived there. Renzo is patient. Renzo is honest. Renzo will take the boy by law if she refuses. But Aldo's will has a clause that no one else has read carefully. A dark gothic capo romance of escrow, iron gates, and a mother who reads to the end of the page.
