The Bone Prospector

Kansas, 1879. Matthias Hoyt rides into the flats to strip bones from a kill that isn't his. Calder Singh has been there a week and will kill for it. They fight, split the haul, and start hauling bones together because neither man can afford not to. One season. One wagon. One dugout barely wide enough for two bedrolls. Matthias left a husband in the ground back east. Calder left three bodies and a warrant across three territories. Neither man is looking for anything. The Pinkerton who finds them isn't looking for Matthias. And when Matthias pulls the trigger anyway, the two of them have to keep riding, past the last road, past the last town, into a country that doesn't keep records. A dark, spare, slow-burn western about two men who do terrible things to stay next to each other.
