The Assassin He Charmed

Vex Corrin kills players for a living. Her target this time is Ash Heron, guildmaster of Dawnspire and six months from a quest that will let one locked-in player go free. They meet across a knife's edge and both their HUDs flash the same warning: real player detected. The Engine has set a trap, and the only dungeon that will clear it is one that builds itself from their worst memories. Vex has two rules: never take a contract on someone she likes, and never stay. Ash is about to break both. So is the game.
