Snowbound With the Executioner

Bojana Ilić drives for people who do not forgive mistakes. She has been careful for four years, skimming only enough to get her mother out of Belgrade, telling herself the day is coming. Then a rival crew runs her off a mountain road in a December storm, and she and Dragan Milošević — the man the family calls when it needs someone gone — end up in a guesthouse with no power and one fireplace. Four days. One gun on the table between them. One of them is a thief, one of them is a killer, and both of them are already planning to betray the same people. Before the snow melts, someone in that room has to say the first true thing.
