Rescued by the Bratva Doctor

Tessa Lindqvist is a paramedic with a suspension on her record and a habit of doing the wrong thing for the right patient. On a warehouse call she finds a man bleeding out in a suit, who refuses the ambulance and offers her a year's salary to drive. His name is Nikolai Markov. He is the bratva's doctor. He was shot by his own cousin. Tessa makes a decision she can't defend on paper. She puts him in her back seat. Two nights in a vet clinic, a stolen vial of ketamine, and a man who talks too honestly for someone who should be dead. She learns what he does, who he does it for, and the small northern clinic he was already planning to run when he got out. She gets him out. She doesn't wait to be thanked. A bratva doctor romance with one road in and no way back.
