Pumpkin Spice and Late Nights

Priya Anand works the night desk at the Bellwood Public Library and has spent two years not admitting that her favorite person is Marcus Webb, the baker who drops off day-old pastries every Tuesday. Then the library announces a midnight gala to save the children's wing, and Priya and Marcus end up running it together, testing pumpkin spice recipes in the break room at one in the morning. It is basically a relationship without the paperwork. Priya has been burned before and refuses to name it. Marcus has been patient for two years and finally asks. She panics. She says no.
