Prince of Ash

Ashvale Academy was built on Lira Aldane's family ashes. She's the only phoenix to walk its halls in forty years, and she has no intention of letting the school forget it. Her first fire ritual goes wrong. Three boys take the burns meant for her: Corin, a fox who never stops talking; Dre, a sphinx who answers every question with another one; and Piper, a wolf with scars that match her own. Now her fire lives in their skin. Every flare walks back through them first. To make it stop, Lira has to learn the fire her family was killed for — the slow burn, the ash, the rising. And when a cult tries to sacrifice her on the winter solstice, three boys burn with her. A phoenix does not stay dead. She comes back with company.
