No Oath, No Crown

Katya Volkov inherited her father's crew, his docks, and one condition: swear the old oath to the vampire sorority that has bankrolled Russian crime in the South for a hundred and forty years. She said no. Adaora, the sovereign who administers that oath, could have killed her. Instead she gives Katya three months to run a crew without protection and watches to see if she survives it.
