No Heat, No Exit

Sloane Whitaker has sixteen hours to save her career, and she's spending them stuck in an elevator with the one man in New York who never gives interviews. Dov Ashkenazi built a food empire on being unreachable. Now he's trapped nine floors up with a reporter who won't stop talking and a fear he's never told anyone. By the time the doors open, they've each said something unforgivable — and true. The board wants her buried. Her editor wants her fluff. Sloane wants the story that matters, and Dov wants to be the kind of man who could give it to her.
