Lacrosse and Loyalty

Nico and Jonah have been co-captains since they were nine. This year they are also the two people standing between a capo and a state championship. Nico's uncle runs the booster club and the debt behind it. Jonah's father owes money he cannot pay, and the payment being asked for is a loss on purpose. Neither boy knows the other is involved until the week of playoffs, and by then the choice is not about lacrosse anymore. A high school capo romance about two friends, one debt, and a game neither of them can afford to win.
