Keeping the Bratva Boss

Iris Chen translates for anyone who pays, and occasionally that means people with black SUVs and unlisted phone numbers. She does not expect to like Viktor Volkov, the family's quietest enforcer and its reluctant next boss. She certainly does not expect him to stay for the noodles. Three weeks in, standing at her usual subway stop, Iris feels his heartbeat from across the block and knows exactly what the Volkov family has decided for her. Viktor tries to keep her off the radar by paying her off and staying away. It lasts six days. Then someone drops a package in her lobby, and Iris is standing in the middle of the worst week the Volkov family has had in a decade — and Viktor Volkov, who has spent his whole life giving things up, has to figure out how to keep this one. A warm, steamy fated mates bratva romance for readers who like their noodles with a side of crime.
