Her Son's Patch

Ondine Vaz has stitched Ironback MC wounds at her kitchen table for eleven years. She never asked what her son did on the runs. She never asked who brought him home. She asks now. Reyes Halloran is twenty-nine, the club's new sergeant, and the man who carried her son's body off the mountain. When the rivals who killed him come looking for Ondine — for what's in her blood — Kestrel drives her to a cabin in the Sierras and refuses to leave her alone. She's forty-four. She's not a girl, and she's not a shifter, and she's not going to be anybody's claim. But the snow is long, and the valley has opinions, and in the middle of the longest winter she's ever had, Ondine makes a decision that belongs to no one but her.
