Held By The Vethian Warlord

Maren has been captured by the most feared warlord in three systems. She's decided to be extremely annoying about it. Karrigan needs her star charts, and Maren will give them — for a price: he answers one question every jump. Through eight days of nebula, of prayers she wasn't meant to see, of a kiss he'll deny, she learns that the warlord everyone fears is just a man trying to get home. A grumpy sunshine sci-fi alien captive romance.
