Fanged in the Fast Lane

Danni Vega rides chase for the Widowmakers out of Phoenix, and she is the only human in the pack that matters. Her secret is a vampire named Rusk. She has been paying him in blood since she was seventeen — every other Friday, at a truck stop outside Gila Bend. Then the club president is murdered and Rusk is named. Danni finds out the Widowmakers are vampires too — always have been. Rusk didn't kill anyone. He was set up by a rival pack and the human kingpin behind them. And the reason he has protected Danni for eleven years has nothing to do with the deal and everything to do with his dead sister. Danni is furious. She gets over it in a motel room in Kingman. They ride back into Phoenix with the evidence and a plan. The kingpin's operation is going down in flames. And the Widowmakers are about to vote in their first living president.
