Court of Black Glass

Every seven years the queen of the black glass court takes a new attendant. Every seven years the last one is stripped of her name and thrown out. Mirabel has been waiting her whole life to be the next. She was not told that the last one is still alive, still furious, and has spent seven years learning to walk through the same mirrors she was expelled from. Soren arrives as the northern lord with a treaty in his hands and a very good memory. He wants the queen's head. Mirabel wants to live past her own seventh year. They make a deal in the hedge maze. They break it in the archive. By the time they walk into the throne room together, neither of them is a tool of the crown anymore. A dark enemies to lovers fantasy romance for readers who like their slow burn cold, mirrored, and ruled from two thrones.
