Claiming the Sky Marshal

Cass Wren has one rule and she broke it: never tow anything alive. The pod had a Sky Marshal in it. Vakka Savyen was the Aloari fleet's best pilot until he refused to fire on a civilian station, and now his own admiral wants him vaporized. Cass has a busted drive, one engine, and a warrant problem of her own. Together they have a stolen cargo hold, three days of fuel, and a fleet on their tail. He wants to turn himself in to protect her. She wants to steal something very large. They compromise. One junker, one disgraced marshal, one admiral who should have checked the drydock.
