Claimed by the Highland Captain

Lady Honora Pemberton runs north in the dead of winter rather than marry a man who has already hurt her, and is stopped by a snowdrift and a company of militia on the Moray coast. Captain Duncan Ross pulls her from the coach, wraps her in his plaid, and takes her to his aunt's house intending to be rid of her by morning. Then he learns whose bride she is — the promised wife of the man responsible for his brother's death. There is only one story that will keep her safe: that she was claimed. So they tell it.
