Winter Without Warning

Sixteen months of no sun. Three years of one ridge between them. One cold night that ends the arrangement. Sella Fornes is the last meteorologist on her mountain, keeping a weather log that only she will ever read. Bram Kellick drives the logging road twice a year in a truck that shouldn't run, trading salt for aspirin and leaving before dark. They have never spent a night under the same roof. Then the station's antenna comes down and Sella's leg breaks with it. Bram carries her off the ridge in a whiteout, and the coldest winter of the long dark begins in a truck cab that neither of them can leave. A month of tinned fish, ice melt, and the two confessions they have each been saving. A radio signal from Idaho that offers them both a way out. And a choice that neither is willing to make without the other. A quiet, intimate post-apocalyptic survival romance for readers who like their love stories kept in a logbook.
