Viggo

Hollis Wren has been writing letters for eleven months. The Rime MC owes her late father's construction company enough money to clear her student loans and then some, and the treasurer keeps not paying. So she drives to Duluth in her grandmother's Corolla and delivers the last letter by hand. She does not expect to be let through the gate. She does not expect to be put in a truck. She does not expect to spend nine days in a cabin on Lake Vermilion with Viggo Andersen, the Rime's enforcer, who has her manila folder on the table and a woodstove that won't stay lit and no intention of explaining himself. The roads are snowing in. A rival crew has put a price on anyone who has been at the compound. And the only man who has ever told Hollis the truth about her father's last contract is the man who won't let her leave.
