Vera

Vera Sokolova is a forensic accountant. She's also the only person who's ever built a case against the Solntsevskaya bratva and lived. When her laptop is seized, she expects to die. Instead, the pakhan offers her a job: find the mole in his organization. Sergei Antonov is 52. He's killed more men than Vera has met. He's also the only person who's ever looked at her numbers and seen the truth. Vera takes the job. She doesn't tell him she already knows who the mole is. She doesn't tell him she's been in love with him for three years. She doesn't tell him she knows he knows. When the mole tries to frame her, Sergei doesn't hesitate. He kills his own son. Then he tells Vera the truth: he's been watching her for three years. She's been played. She doesn't care.
