The Underboss She Married

Junie Okafor shoots weddings. Her last client of the season hired her for a Camorra reception and her camera caught something that wasn't on the seating chart. Sal Di Marco is fifty-three, underboss, and not the kind of man who confiscates a memory card. Instead he books her for a family event every month for a year, pays her triple, and tells her, politely, that if her files leave her studio he'll know. Junie takes the money. She keeps the files. She doesn't ask questions — until a rival family offers her a number for the originals. Sal overrules her, and it works. Then her brother gets into a case she can't fix without Sal's name on it, and Junie starts spending her own leverage. A dark mafia age gap bully romance about a wedding photographer who writes her own prenup.
