The Tenant in 4B Never Blinks

Nora Beck needed somewhere cheap to start over. The Ashgrove, a crumbling Victorian rooming house, offered a one-bedroom with tall windows and rent she could actually afford. On her first night, she hears scratching behind the wall. On her second, she films it. The footage shows a woman moving through a corridor that does not exist. The landlord says the building has eleven units. Nora has counted twelve doors. As she pulls at the threads of the Ashgrove's past, Nora uncovers a private sanatorium, a sealed ward, and a family that has been feeding someone through the plaster for thirty years. The neighbours hear the same noises. None of them will say a word. Some doors are nailed shut. Some are simply hidden. And the one behind Nora's headboard has been waiting for her to open it.
