The Second Wife's Confession

Nadia has spent two years living with a woman she never met. Celia's photograph is on the stairs. Celia's friends are still invited to dinner. Celia's bath salts are still under the sink. Then Nadia finds Celia's old phone in a drawer, still charged, still active, and on it six months of messages she cannot explain — because they were sent from her own number. Now Nadia is writing down everything, from the first time she met Oliver to the night she ran the bath and locked the door, and she is going to send it to the police when she's finished. The only problem is that she cannot remember which parts are true, or which wife she is confessing about. A hypnotic, addictive psychological thriller in the tradition of the most unsettling unreliable narrators.
