The Reluctant Reaper

Nell Sorrow has reaped ten thousand souls and never once looked back. Then a clerical error binds her to Marcus Vale, a guardian angel with a smile like a funeral and a secret older than her scythe. Together they're assigned to Wren — a dying violinist who refuses to go quietly. As the week runs out, Nell starts breaking every rule the reaping order ever wrote, and Marcus starts remembering a life he was supposed to forget. When the archangels demand her soul in payment, Nell will have to choose between the girl she was made to take and the angel she was never meant to love. Some souls don't get collected — they get chosen.
